A/Prof Gary Kilov is a founding member of the RACGP specific interest group for diabetes and Primary Care Diabetes Society, Australia, (PCDSA). He is a senior lecturer at UTAS and contributed to current RACGP Type 2 diabetes management guidelines. In his spare time he enjoys running, music and movies.

Amelia White

Amelia graduated from LaTrobe University in Victoria, and has enjoyed returning home to work in various towns throughout the north of the state. Amelia is interested in a wide variety of nutrition-related conditions, however her special interests include heart health, diabetes, weight management and bariatric surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, running and basketball.

Psychologist

Lesley Osenieks

Psychologist Lesley Osenieks has joined the Launceston Health Hub. Lesley has a particular interest in child and adolescent mental health, eating disorders, obesity issues, chronic illness, anxiety, depressive issues and general psychological concerns. Lesley’s approach to assessment and treatment is integrated and informed by evidence based and person centred therapies (e.g. cognitive behavioural therapy).

Exercise Physiologist

Marlene Lovell

Exercise Physiologist Marlene Lovell sees a wide range of ages, including young children right through to those in advanced old age. Marlene has a special interest in chronic disease, cancer and neuromuscular pathologies. She teaches people that exercise does not have to be scary to be really effective and how to better manage their conditions through lifestyle and behavioural change. She is also passionate about chronic pain management and have an increasing practice in Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome and other neural pain issues.
